Dear all,
Could you kindly let me know how to handle the following scenario in SAP system.
We have a delivery shipment PGI to customer, however, there are many times in which the actual physical goods shipment is less than the shipment (system).
In such case, we normally will replenish the short shipment items to the customer.
May I know how to handle this in SAP?

we have customer invoice posted from SD, reference key 1 field is updated with sales office number, later on we use fb05 to post the customer discount, the requirement is to copy reference key 1 to sales office field in profit segment during fb05,
for example in invoice document, reference key 1 is 0123, we want subsequent customer discount to be posted with 0123 in sales office (inside profit segment)

I am not able to rename the subview id, long string gets auto generated while saving the configuration.

My requirement is have subview id of less than 10 char to use somewhere in the SPRO configuration.
I don't want red long string in my subview id.
Anyone come across such situation, any help would be appreciated.

There is a scenario of recovering the prorated bonus amount, if the employee has not served from Jan to Dec of the year(by termination or resignation). The bonus is already paid to employee which is taxable. Such recovery is to be done along with the full and final activities.
How to handle such scenario in termination work bench process?

Basically, you need to find out which alert category that was used in your system, and then go to t-code ALRTCATDEF, and change the Long & Short Text definition for it.

Go to your edition configuration. In that you have option - Validity of Edition - Here you have 2 options. Date specific and period specific. Choose period specific and then give your Fiscal year variant. With this you will able to view the periods in edition.

The limit of 500 is provided by default so that user does not end up executing is for a very large number of data. This is user specific and can be changed. Try following:
1) Go to Help-> Settings -> Max. number of hits to be displayed(Increase the size)
2) Update Field value for TBMAXSEL of table RSEUMOD ( Xn SE11/SE16 ) to have the number of entries that needs to be defaulted for that user. RSEUMOD is the table that contains the default workbench config entries for a user.
3) Change the function module of corresponding search help:
...
IF callcontrol-step = 'PRESEL'.
callcontrol-MAXRECORDS = 1000
EXIT.
ENDIF.
I will check specifically for dispute cases and come back to you. In the mean while you can try above suggestion and let us know if they work for you.

Thank you for your reply, I finally resolve this issue by update the hostagent, restart SMD in managed system side and change the parameter you mentioned above in solman side. There are only three or four SMDs in my landscape, I think the default value for the parameters is large enough, so I didn't try to enlarge the value yesterday. It's really weird. Anyway, thank you very much.

At the time of posting to such cost center some messages must have been issued may be warning or information. Try changing the message into error message. It may be done through OBA5 probably. I am not in front of system otherwise could give you exact help. Else you can go to The path SPRO - Controlling - General Controlling - Change message control.
Secondly under control tab of CC you should put restrictions on actual as well as plan postings.
And also reduce the validity period of CC if you wish to restrict in that ways.

See, you can go to tomcat->webapps-> see if you find the MobileServer, MobileOTA14 , MobileBIService folders, this would mean that the SAP BusinessObjects Mobile is installed but may need configuration over ipad like Mobile App installation on ipad and setting up connection.
You can also check by going to CMC-> SAP BusinessObjects Mobile to confirm if it is installed.
to check the version installed, you can use this link from ipad to confirm whether the SAP BusinessObjects Mobile is same as CMS

If you are on linux and assuming you are on service pack where SAP BO Mobile is integrated but not installed, , then you can run ./modifyOrRemoveProducts.sh script and open webtier and select Mobile Servcies and continue with the usual installtion.

I'm afraid screenshots wouldn't be too exciting or helpful in this case...it was just an error saying that that Windows couldn't determine the helper program for .PLT files. After running traces with Procmon on a working system and a non-working system, I was able to get my test system working by importing the following keys from the "good system":

This seems like a clumsy fix/hack and I'm looking at SAP for being the bad guy. Why doesn't it understand/look at definitions for .PLT in HKCR? If I can open a .PLT from Windows Explorer, SAP should be able to do the same. Thankfully, we won't be putting .PLT files in our new SAP implementation, so hopefully I never have to deal with this problem again.
