Clarifying in simple words - SP update doesn't impact application servers, you just stop them and restart them once the SP update is done. Only release upgrades impacts the AS's.

The normal way is to set your timezone. There are a bunch of files stored by region in the following directory:
usr/share/zoneinfo
Take a look and find the one which matches your region. Then you have to create a symlink from /etc/localtime:
For eg:
rm /etc/localtime
ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/London /etc/localtime

I've seen this error when a user had an action pane with dirty values, e.g. Time=2007.TOTAL try setting before all the action pane with valid values where you have some data and after open the custom menu.

How to update more than a single business partner in a contract through BAPI?
Dear Experts,
We have a scenario wherein we have multiple partners assignned to a single contract. I want to use the function module - BAPI_RE_CN_CHANGE to append the business partners in a contract after it has been created.
The problem is although the BAPI is giving a success message the contract is not getting updated with the business partner. Please provide some help on the same.

Disable UWL getting focus on refresh
Hi, some time ago we upgraded from NW 7.3 to NW 7.31. This upgrade brought us a new "feature" - if user has opened a window with Universal worklist and minimized it to the tray, everytime this UWL is refreshed, it "jumps" out of the tray and it is automatically put to the foreground.
This feature is quite annoying for our users and we would like to switch it off. However, we were not able to find any documentation on this.
Can you please advise how to do that?
