We need to access ECC Transactions from CRM UI. But every time it asks for a username and password. So we want to setup SSO.
Can anyone provide me the steps to setup SSO between CRM and ECC Webgui?

reports saved in My Favourites can't be accessed
Hi,
My access was revoked mistakenly. I've got back my access again.
I'm unable to see my reports saved in My Favourites folder.
Can I get my reports back in My Favourites folder?

Try changing URL parameter to the physical location of the parent service - PO Approval.

How to Remove ZMHF from Request for Change Scope (ChaRM)
Hi,
We are using ChaRM in CRM Web Client UI (Solman 7.1)
I have setup ZMCR (change request) and users are selecting the change category (either ZMMJ or ZMHF) in the “Request for Change Scope” portlet.
HOW DO WE HIDE ONE OF THESE OPTIONS???
For example, the business only want ZMMJ to appear in the change category in the Request for Change Scope.
I have tried everything. In SPRO, I have changed the ZMHF transaction type to a different Approval Procedure....it still appears.
I have blocked ZMHF in define transaction type....it still appears.
I have even made ZMHF inactive....it still appears in the dropdown.
I have gone into “Copy Transaction Types” in SPRO and removed ZMCR to ZMHF....it still appears in dropdown.
None of my other transaction types (ZMAD, ZMCG, ZMTM etc.) appear
What am I missing???

Raising a notification from 3rd party software
Hi
We have a client looking at raising notifications within the asset management system of SAP via a sql/.net software application. The 3rd party software has a defect register which could be used to open the SAP notification. We would like to populate the fields automatically when the notification is opened.
Is there a current feature within SAP to raise single or multiple notifications via a 3rd party application?

I liked Suhas answer for this (unfortunately unusual) good question.
My answer is that there is not a clear advantage per se; it will depend on your use case. Another use case is to create an local exception class, as I show: Local exception class in global class - the trick
But I believe most of the times private methods will do the trick.

crystal report date and time computing
Hi guys, please help me with my problem. im planning to create a crystal report that can compute time.
i have here a date in my database. i want if possible, if a user add item on the database. the item will be added and the
system itself will generate the date and time the item was created. now i have the item as well as the date and time of creation of the said item.
i want to show those data in crystal report. but i want to add a condition. that if an item was created after 1301H the date of the report will show as
in next following day. its like there is a cutoff when adding an item.
for example. if i add item A and daate is 01/01/2014 8:00am. the report will show item A with date 01/01/2014 8:00am.
if user2 added item B with date 01/01/2014 1300H. then the report will show item B with 01/02/2014 8:00am. since there is a cutoff.

Query running very slow for 2LIS_13_VDKON Extractor.
Dear Experts
Having no Standard InfoCube to accommodate the data from 2LIS_13_VDKON Extractor, I've created an InfoCube having the Standard DSO inbetween. The Data Flow is as below:
2LIS_13_VDKON -> ZSD_DS17 (which is a copy of BCT DSO 0SD_O06) -> ZSD_C17 ---> ZSD_M02 (MultiProvider)
We went live last week and there are only 1252377 records in the InfoCube at the moment in Production. The BEx Query designed on top of the MultiProvider runs by default for the last 3 Months (Variable created) initially and the User will be able to look up only the last 13 Months (another Variable created) of data at any given point in time.
The User doesn't want any Selection Parameters on this Report and that's how it is created.
The problem now is.. this 'Margin on Agreed Cost' Report taking about 3 Minutes and 5 Seconds to run.
I have RSRV on the InfoCube and everything seems to be ok, tried Aggregates (though I understand that this number of records wouldn't need one to be created) and have also tried Query Cache today but no good.
Is there anything that I might have overlooked when designing the InfoCube and the BEx Query? Attached are the screenshots of the InfoCube, MultiProvider and the BEx Query for your reference.
Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
