You are absolutely right. When the type of Period Length is 1, then you don´t need to enter the number of days per period. I will amend my previous comment.. sorry about my mistake I did not look at the type of per.length.
Now let me explain your numbers.
You have a total of 700 CS of PIRs for the following 90 days. The daily demand is calculated as: 700 CS / 90 Days = 7.77778 CS / day.
Based on your settings, your target safety stock is equal to 30days (appliable only during the first month). So it is: 30 days x 7,77778 CS / Day = 234 CS.
Now, as you can see, the sum of those planned orders is 234 CS.
This example is not clear, because you have PIR in the past and a monthly lot size (I suppose). Try to make the same example, but I recommend to start with the PIRs in the first week of Oct. Run the MRP and you will see a more clear example...

We license Crystal Reports for each site, but the end users will see the reports through our Web App.

if i look the flow of production order then system create a reservation number against the production order with all the detail (storage type and bin from control cycle) and at the time of consumption it picks the storage type / bin from the reservation table
when you create CS service order (IW32) could you please check whether there is any entry in the reservation table(RESB) for that or not

Pass Report Detail Function Variables to Report Footer
I need to track and accumulate the costs for different "PROJECTS" and print them out on the report in the detail section. The "PROJECTS" names are in a string variable delimited by a semi-colon, coming from a database table. Because of this, I cannot use any of the built-in CRYSTAL grouping or summary function.
I use a CRYSTAL Formula "TheProjectsAndCostsAvg" to pass all the cost variables and project-name string variable to a function, where I split out all the data to get the various Project name(s) and cost(s).
I build string variables for each "Project' name and their costs, then pass them back to the report to print out in the detail section.
What I would like to do is accumulate the totals, that I am printing in the detail section, in the function for each project, create a string variable which includes the project names and dollar amounts. I would like to pass this string variable back to the Report and print it out in the Report-Footer. I have not figured out how to pass variables created in the detail section to the report footer section.
I enclosed a copy of the Formula, The Function and output.

How to insert e-mail into a customer master data
Hi all,
i need to insert e-mail into customer's master data, which bapi can i use? and, if that possible, how?
i explain the situation: we need to let some users change a customer data, what we want is create a transaction, let say ZXD02, that only let a user add or change emai for customer and update the Notes (see attachment). What user do, have to be replicated in Master Data in General Data-->Address-->E-Mail
Any suggestions?

Customizing FD01 and FB70 using PS Class and Characteristics
Hello SAP Experts
I have the following issue:
My client has a requirement where we need to customize the Customer Master (FD01) screen and the Invoice Posting Screen (FB70). A few additional fields have to be added by creating a separate tab. I was intending to take Abaper's help and do this using user exits but I have been suggested by the cleint to use SAP PS Class and Characteristics feature to do this. Can someone please throw some light on this feature and how can i create custom fields on FD01 and FB70 screens. Is there a way we could customize these screens using PS characteristics. Your opinions would be much appreciated.

CATS Timesheet approval workitem not completing sometimes after approval/rejection
Hi,
standard task TS31000007 was copied into custom task and maintained in
CAC1 for CATS data entry profile for timesheet workflow approval.
Sometimes even after taking action on all the items in the workitem,
the workflow/workitem is not getting completed and removed from manager's inbox.
The reciever instance linkage remians in SWEINST. Seems CATS-COMPLETED
terminating event is not triggering properly for completing the
workitem. This happens sometimes only.
There are no dumps in the system for WF-BATCH user.
Is there any setting which can be miantained in SWEQADM for logging terinating events which are failed to deliver OR could complete the workitem so that later on it can redelivered from SWEQADM.
Kindly advise.
