Thanks, actually the problem came with deleting dimension members. I had got to delete the data in BPC application cube to remove dimension member id because it is being used. for that I have tried to delete the application cube data selectively but still I was not able to delete it from master data. After I perform light optimize on the application I am able to delete dimension member record.

Hu,
I would suggest using Explorer if the users need to do data exploration of LARGE sets of data. You can also schedule Exploration Views over night and incorporate it with Row-level security.
The best thing is when users find the data they are looking for they can export it to WebI, as long as the back-end is UNV/UNX.

you won't see your partner function in this list. This list of role types is fixed in domain AIC_CRM_PARTNER_FCT_TYPE_D, Semantical Definition of CRM Business Partner Function, as shown below. You need to select one of the existing role types and assign it to your new partner function. Your partner function will be in field Function only.

Language issue
Hi,
In the system I set display language as "french",then login into system only few area like menu,reports are translated into French,rest of all are in English.what is the reason for this?
My second question while login,can system able to display message saying that user logged with French language.
can somebody throw light on this issues?

Did you also try to put at the end of the link "&sap-client=XXX" and number of your sap client? Not sure if it helps but you can always try.
What's more did you try to run program SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL on your erp?
Check maybe also tstc object in erp, if execute method is available. If not copy object and create new one, to use it later in transaction launcher configuration.
Could you put a screen of how it looks like right now? What you can see on the web page and what not?

I have not tried it in system but these 2 enhancements should be possible. Please find my answers below.
1) You can activate the operators for any specific Attribute of a component. SPRO-> CRM -> CRM Cross-App Components -> Genil / Object Layer -> Comp-Specific Settings -> Define operators for dynamic queries.
2) If you meant, adding search values dynamically for the Main category field, you can do it in GET_DQUERY_DEFINITIONS method of your view IMPL class.

1. DNL_ stands for download , these are the objects which we run in transaction R3AS to download data from corresponding back end system. These objects may be custom or standard.
Now we use these objects where SAP does not provide standard replication policy. Like in case o materials it always a download object which run to update the data for materials.
2.Yes we can restrict the data by maintaining filter settings in Tx code R3AC1 (for standard objects) . eg. if you want download or upload data corresponding to single organisation you can create filter for that organisation.
3.You can inactive the objects if you want to stop automatic delta load.
4.In SMOEAC you can manage all adapter objects . You can manage your OLTP sites/ Target systems here.

Hi Surya,
BPC model can have 13 dimensions if we need best performance wise.
BW Cube also have 13 custom dimensions(chars).. while loading you may pass bpc dim = bw info object.
at BW Side there 3 sap defined dimensions which are not useful for BPC. So BW also have 13 custom dimension only.
But BW dimension is not the same bpc dimension. because bw dimension holds number char objects but BPC dimension itself is char object

Entry and approval Error and system hangs
Hi All,
While loading data from entry and approval, when I click on LOAD PAS, a window pops up, I click on OK. After that the system gets hanged. After 20mins or so a window pops up saying "Check the trace file". It doesnt say loaded successfully.
When i go to check the trace file. There are 2 files for the particular model.
1. wfmde_errors_XXXX
2. wfmde_update_XXXX
When i try to open error file, it says "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process".
Please find the attached UPDATE file.
-->>Now when i try to open any context in UI, system gets hanged.
-->>I checkd in ADMIN-->>Manage model-->>Test connection. It says "Error occurred trying to connect; database does not exist"
-->>Then I went and checked the model in PAS, when i click on it, it says "ENV036: the database XXXX is used by MMADMIN for Update access"
I have loaded data in the same model many times, and it was successful.
Is this error related to Database?
Why such a wired behavior??
Please help me on this.
