when i looked at the log file which is present in workspace\.metadata

it says something like this :

ATP / Requirements transfer at configuration component level

Hi group,

 

We have a assembly-to-order scenario in which we use the variant configurator in SD (including variant pricing conditions) to configure a (single-level) material. This is exploded in a plant maintenance BoM for assembly including components (MM materials). There is currently no BoM maintained in SD, so we only have the top-level configurable material in the sales order.

 

A customer requirement is that we check stock availability at component level during sales order entry. My question is whether this is possible without using a sales BoM. If so we would prefer that option over a sales BoM, both for maintenance reasons as well as for oversight in the sales order (potentially many configurable materials per order).

1. How do I restrict access to the various options under j1id ot
j1it?
CIN has pre delivered authorization groups j1it and j1id. You can
attach this group to the table using transaction SUCU.

 

2. How do I create
new authorization groups?
You have to run a report RKSCUS09. Enter the
authorization objects as S_TABU_DIS and then you can maintain new authorization
groups under this.

 

3. Multiple users are not able to use j1id at the same
time. How do I resolve this ?
Master data in CIN is maintained using default
table maintenance views. This poses a restriction that only one user can change
the data at any given time. This is because of the table level lock.

 

4.
Can I run Internet sales with excise taxes?
You need to have separate pricing
procedure to make this possible. It would be best to contact SAP product
management group on this.

Sales Manager Server not working?

Hello Everyone,

 

I'm currently facing the same issue mentioned in http://scn.sap.com/thread/3558948, but with the Sales Manager Server (Agentry Standalone version). I have tried all the options mentioned here, plus even uninstalling and reinstalling the server, but the issue remains. It's important to say that it was working fine before and for what I can see the server itself starts successfully. The issue is more with the Administration Tools (GUI and CMD), and from what I can think; could be something related with ServerPipes.lst not been generated with the right information. Because when I start the server from the Agentry Administration Client or the command-line tool the server startup process runs without issue, but at the very first moment throws the message "Unable to connect to the server that we just started"

And finally everytime that I try to connect to the started server I got the message described for the original post.

 

If anyone has any suggesting, its very welcome.

Invoice Correction

We sent invoice to customer about 3 weeks ago - the sales rep accidentally forgot to give free shipping.

 

Can we create invoice correction doc. in this scenario? Say this is what happened:

 

Price: $100

Freight: $20 (should be $0)

 

Create invoice correction Doc type RK with condition values:

 

Price $0 (since no refund in price)

Freight: $20 (refunding $20 to customer)

 

Or would it be better in this scenario to cancel invoice and create new invoice and then send to customer?

I forgot to mention an important detail - we also want to make sure that freight account is property adjusted due to this error.

Yes I'm doing in the same way ,but I need to provide many parameters in additional parameter field and standard length is not sufficient for my requirement.

Hello All,


I currently face an issue in MM with the enjoy fields of the Screen Layout at Document Level definition.

 

Please find below the issue description and the explanation of what I did :


Customizing :
> Creation of a new PO doc type : Materials Management/ Purchasing/ Purchase Order/Define Document Types
> Customizing on Enjoy fields for material in the screen layout : Materials Management/ Purchasing/ Purchase Order /Define Screen Layout at Document Level : ENJOY FIELDS


1/ My first customizing
1.1 Materials Management/ Purchasing/ Purchase Order/Define Document Types
I have created a new document type ZDIV and assigned to it the field selection key ZBS.
1.2 Materials Management/ Purchasing/ Purchase Order /Define Screen Layout at Document Level : ENJOY FIELDS
For the field selection ZBS (table T162) I have customized the enjoy fields this way for the material field (I wanted the material field to be mandatory in the new document ZDIV)

I released my OT and transport it to the qualification environment to test it


2/ Second customizing
After my first test in the qualification environment, I decided to replace the Reqd.entry  by the optional entry for the Material field in ENJOY FIELDS, and I have transported my new customizing in the qualification system. But despite of my new customizing, the "material status" remains the same in my new document type ZDIV, i.e. the material field remains mandatory in the purchase order ! (instead of optionnal)

Hi Jimmy,

 

There are no use_startup_timezone parameter in indexserver file (probably is there the default ),   but what worked for me was the time zone settings for  sidadm user in the  .setenv.csh file .

Hi Karol,

 

Thanks for your response.  When I see the description of SetVariablevalue statement then this is what I see.

 

setVariableValueExt(variable, value)

Sets query variable values in external key format, then executes the data
source query again.

 

Now above statement is clearly saying that it executes the datasource query again...so I am kinda confused here?

What happens when you click on print.

Afterwards you can see the created spool in Transaction SP02 and there you see something similar

Here you can see what exact happens or even not happening with your spool.

First of all you have to see what Status is set.

The different status are explained here:

and if you do not know how to interpret this status here you have to contact your basis-administrator or even the first level support and these guys will know how to help you.

Hi Vishal,

 

Which Netweaver version are you running under MII 15.0? If its NW 7.40, you need to be on SP6 or later or you will get the "blank screen" issue when you try to open SSCE from the portal.  I believe this is documented in the MII Product Availability Matrix in Service Marketplace.

Hi Ady,

When am running installers in Dev environment, post giving database details, it is asking for only Keystore password and confirmation. It is not asking for smpAdmin password creation. where as in Test environment server, it is asking for Keystore password and smpAdmin password aswell.

This is very strange to me. Is it possible if you can share screenshots of the same step from both machines? Which SMP version you are trying with?

 

Moreover, in dev environment, port number fields are in non editable mode, and am unable to change port number(since https port is already in use) but I am able to change port numbers in Test environment.

Are you talking about "Notification Configuration" step where you got an option to select protocol type either HTTP/HTTPS and push port as 8080-8083/84?

That's because st is just a sting with the SQL statement in it. You need to use setString on a prepared statement object. This is an Update example but basically the same as insert for the general demonstration purpose.
