I am using the LSMW tool with iDocs. I have notes that we want to put into the notes field in CRM under a business partner. When I map this field to the field in my txt file it only brings in 132 bits of it the string from the txt file. I attempted to set TDFORMAT to '/' and enter some '/' into my txt file but this does not seem to make a new line like I expected....just inserts it into my string output. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, I want to get the entire string into CRM

Error when creating Transfer order using function module L_TO_CREATE_SINGLE
Hi All,
I'm trying to create two Transfer order by moving part of quantity from one Storage unit to one storage type (destination storage unit is same as source SU) and remaining part of quantity to another storage type(destination storage unit is kept blank so that the system will generate new SU). I'm able to create one TO but while creating second TO getting an error that SU is not consistent with TO data.When i checked in the table LEIN the Storage type of the SU has been changed to destination storage type of the first TO the is created.Is this requirement possible or I'm doing something wrong?

Performance deteriorating
Hey all,
I'm testing at home where I have a very fast internet connection, but I found SCN performance has deteriorated over the next month. Sometimes pages take 30-60 seconds to load.
In particular, looking at people's profiles is pretty bad.
Is there a problem?

.jar file creation
Hello,
To run a java program based on BO SDK, on eclipse - could you please tell what are files are necessary to run the program.
Lets say, I want to prepare a .jar file based on SAP Note: 1661131 script.
Anything other than below is necessary? or the files below are enough:
I am on BI4.0 SP06. Please suggest, if I missed any thing or anything I need to consider while running it on Eclipse.

There are many factors to consider, it varies anywhere from 5-35 per CPU. Just some of the dependencies are:
- Size of Hardware CPU
- Amount of memory
- Average size of WebI document ( # of tabs, # of rows, . . . )
- Database performance
- Network speed

If data not exist, then 'Export' have problem.
Maybe you can try this:
EXPORT gt_1 = g_flag TO DATABASE indx(za) ID 'ONE'.
EXPORT gt_2 = g_itab TO DATABASE indx(za) ID 'TWO'.
IMPORT gt_1 = g_flag FROM DATABASE indx(za) ID 'ONE'.
IMPORT gt_2 = g_itab FROM DATABASE indx(za) ID 'TWO'.

How to get portal as subscription application?
Hi Guys,
Currently I am doing HCP extension for SF, in order to manage my HCP extension , portal is coming into place. However when I try to register SAP HANA Cloud Portal as an Authorized Assertion Consumer Service, there is not portal in Subscriptions application.
Does anyone know how to make portal as subscription application? BTW: I am using trial account.

Re: Saving Workflow log to a Z table
I would also question why are you trying to store the workflow log into a Z-table? There should be a really good reason for this, and even then it is most probably wrong.
1) Why do you need to have same data in two places?
2) Depending on the implemented workflow processes, the workflow log table(s) can be really big. Why would you want to replicate even part of this data? Many times the question of deleting & archiving the work items (and the log data) appears sooner or later.
Clearly the place of the custom code is not right, if it does not store correct data into the Z-table. Did you debug this? Are you getting right data in your enhancement spot?
Once you explain the background of this requirement, someone might give you a better solution, and you could forget the whole enhancement spot solution altogether.

Material Ledger - KE27 - item category LUMF
Hi.
I have a problem, wish any of you give me some ideas. The scenario is:
SD is working with BOMs, the header material has item category LUMF so this material is invoiced. This item dont manage stock.
The child materials are finished products S/3 in ML. In the SD flow, the outbound delivery do the GI of the child materials, so this post the COGS.
When we invoice, the Header material arrive to CO-PA. This is the standard behavior.
Our problem:
We calculate the actual cost in ML to the FERTs, and revaluate the COGS in FI. Here everything OK.
When i run KE27 to revaluate the Actual CCS and the COGS, the system dont find invoce for the FERT, because the invoice is in the Header material.
Here my 1st question: Do you know a workaround?
2nd question: I have the crazy idea to create Z that calculate the GI from the outbound delivery related to the invoice and post KE21 in PA with simulating a invoice. I just test and KE27 revaluate the actual CCS of this manual dummy record. Do you think this is a good idea? I never try something like this.
PS1. Customer dont want to work with item category ERLA (i konw with ERLA there is not problems)

Text mapping of SC and PO
Dear Friends,
We are using SRM 7.02. My requirement is to make a new text Local Vendor text in SC and convert it to PO. We are using extended classic scenario.
I did the following settings.
I made one text in SPRO >> SRM Server >> Cross Application settings >> Text Schema and two IDs one for SC - ZESC and another for ZEPO
I made one text in SPRO >> SRM Server >> Cross Application settings >> Text Mapping >> Text Mapping for Internal Texts. Mapped under SC ZESC and ZEPO which I created in above step.
I get both setting into a request and transport to Quality environment.
I could able to create SC with Local vendor text and convert the same into PO successfully in DEV environment. But when I checked in Quality environment I couldn't able to succeed in getting the text from SC to PO.
What could be the reason. Where I went wrong. I checked the Transport request all succuessfully transported and I checked the entries in SPRO of Quality and found the details.
Is there any other settings also need to be transport with this.

Re: SAP Sales Manager 2.5.X now in SMP 3.0
Sales Manager 2.5.7 is the version that will come with SMP 3.0 files and instruction to install. Older Sales Manager 2.5.X only was released with SMP 2.3 with the expectation that the customer will manually fix it or migrate to SMP 3.0. This is not a trivial step as it may require you to get access to the source code and you may need to sign some papers that you are going to void support if you do so. Wait til 2.5.7 so all the QA and test is already done for you with proper instructions on install. The old SAP note that claims that the earlier Sales Manager 2.5.X versions supports SMP 3.0 will be fixed.
