Hi Sivaram,

 

First create a variant for program SAPLKO71. then go to SM36 and give the Job name to be executed in background then click on steps> under ABAP program> enter the program name and variant>save.

 

Then go to "start conditions"> Date/Time>Enter the start date and time>click on the period values right bottom of the screen>Other period> enter the interval -10 or 15 minutes>check>save>save

 

Now your background job released to be run for every 15 minutes.

 

Go to SM37 and check your job.

Michael:

Which version of Design Studio are you using? I am on DS 1.4 with the 12/19 patch

I am not getting an exception error but "no data available" - which is probably more acceptable than the dump you are getting - see below:

My data source is a BEx query

 

Also, your other options are the dimension panel and filter panel.

Hi Samid

 

1. On your ECC system when system performance getting slow or degraded, check the following transaction codes to know the system status

SM66 – To check over all global workprocess status, any table keeps on reading or getting struck?

SM21 – Check the any error log

ST02 – Memory / Buffer usage?

ST22 - Any time out or DBIF ... Dumps?


2. Most of the time Z-reports are running long time. Due to this normal transaction users are getting affected. For this you can enable the transaction code ST12 trace check the overall DB & ABAP program usage.


3. On your Cluster environment one node can have DB & Application instance and another node can handle the end user transactions. Since the windows 2003 server end of support on this year try to upgrade the existing system to either windows 2008 or 2012 with Failover cluster.


4. On your MS SQL DB have you define the 30% of memory for DB? And also you can refer the SCN link how to tune the MS SQL DB

Hi Raju,

 

Please can you check if "Basic Settings at Plant Level" is activated with appropriate details, in case if  you are activating QM for the first time.

 

If both the inspection types "11" and "06" is added in your material master - QM view, please can you check inspection type "Active" indicator is ticked.

 

Also can you check with your technical team if any other enhancement is active which is blocking your inspection lot creation. At the same time your can also check customer exit QAAT0001.

Hi Patil

 

Kindly follow the steps

1. Stop the SAP instance.

2. Take the full backup of DB & SAP instance folder

3. Download the latest version of MS SQL 2005 and start install the service pack.

4. Check the service pack version which already mention in the SAP Notes 62988

5. Restart the system, check the SAP instance

6. Refer the SAP KBA for download the service pack

1733195 - Microsoft SQL Server version and download list

i already checked it and change the user time zone but the problem remain founded .

i think this problem because   time zone in the system   CET ---- UCT + 1hour  and it must be

Egypt -------- UCT + 2 Hours

Hi Wes,

 

"&" is a reserved keyword. Make use of the Ascii character instead and you should be able to pass the values.

Not sure what the issue was.. But today the configuration was successful!..I did not change anything.. I only waited about 8 hours then re entered the information for the Configuration details and got the green light! 
All is well.

Hi Giovanni,

 

You have a Cost Center in the layout 1-702, that is the next one after 1-701.  But as a starting point you cannot plan the Cost Center costs in CJR2, it is only for WBS cost planning, where some costs can be coming from activity allocation from Cost Centers (like in layout 1-702).

 

It is KP06 where you do Cost Center planning.  Also please check within FM module itself, it might have specific planning layouts to include FM specific data, something like FMPLCPD maybe?

Hi Suresh,

 

Thanks for reply. The discount we have is a manual discount as soon as the discount applied to the parent item it should split the value based on the net price of the child item.

 

Seems like I have to go for customization on this. Please let me know if any one have other solutions.

I never worked with a ZMMH1 structure, but the standard structure BMMH1 has as well the description field and does not have a language field.

It is just so that BMMH5 must only have entries for other languages  than your logon language.

So just exchange E to D and EN to DE in BMMH5 and try again.

I expect that you then get your material with English and German language. If that is the case, then you know that you can skip BMMH5 if you only need one language in your material master

Hi Kiran,

 

Unfortunately even adding 0 or special char is not making it default search mode in search screen, although when drop the search mode it shows ES first in the list of drop down.

Insert or Add new row

Hi,

 

We have a requirement of dynamically add or delete dropdownlist on click button.

I could see there are custom action for Add Row and Insert Row, but it always ran into error saying either "From" or "To" is missing.

 

Looks like these actions are only available for table and not for forms?

 

Please let me know if anyone has tried/achieved something similar.

Alerts in DS board

Hi Gurus,

I had created PPDS Alert profile specific to one plant  and specific to 3 products.

When i try to determine the alerts in alert monitor it give me values. Which is perfect.

When i go to DS board and run alerts it highlights to those products which are not saved in alert profile.

 

My Question is :

1. DS board alerts are not specific to Alert profile (specific products)?

2.Even in product view i see alert profile is generating alerts for products which were not in alert profile. Is it the way system works?

 

Please it will be helpful if anyone can suggest and give inputs.
