First read online help : Use of Predefined Data Types from ABAP Dictionary→ Currency Fields
(So 123456 in database can be 1234.56 USD, or 123.456 BHD or 123456 JPY, table for currency decimal is TCURX, currency without record in this table carry 2 decimals.)
So this is standard behavior, always link amount to currency code so system will display/input it correctly.
NB: When displaying a FI item table with SE16[n] system won't read header so don't know currency code, and use default 2 decimal.

We have the same scenario.
You can use automatic packaging in deliveries, but in this process, the items for packing material are created within the delivery, not in the sales order.

I am however unable to get a folder list once connected. It flashes for a moment..then goes away. Security? I am Admin.. so didn't expect any issue there. Maybe Tomcat/WACS related? We are on 4.1 Sp5 BOBJ as well.

Great and yes it can be tedious... The change we made in .NET was to remove the specific steps that did a lot of this for in previous SDK's because everyone seemed to always want something slightly different, we left it all up to you to do the coding.
And due to the way .NET Framework handles printing it's the only way we could...

as i mentioned in my post we are implementing from the star so using same chart of accounts or not is yet to be decided. i am well aware of the impact of using different COA on other modules but my question is that basses on the fact that both companies operations are different can we still use same chart of account? or should we go with different COA? what could be the complications of doing so.

maybe this is some missunderstanding how the role concept of Fiori works but I'm kinda baffled right now :-)
This is what I done
- We created a custom catalog "Z_EMPLOYEE_LOOKUP" and copied the App "Employee Lookup" from Technical Catalog "SAP_HR_TC_T" to the custom catalog.
- We then assigned the custom catalog to a role "z_bc_employee_lookup" as a SAP fiori catalog (X-SAP-UI2-CATALOGPAGE) and then assigned this role to a user JOHNDOE.
- When JOHNDOE opens Launchpad and switches to catalogs he can see the custom catalog and the tile in there. He can then put this tile say to his "My home" group.
Until now this is all perfectly fine and reasonable. However, when I now remove the role "z_bc_employee_lookup" from the user the tile stays on his "My home group". This is even more cumbersome as the catalog "Z_EMPLOYEE_LOOKUP" is not visible to JOHNDOE anymore (which was expected since I unassigned the role from the user)
--> Are we experiencing a bug, is this some misconfiguration or do I have a fundamental misunderstanding of the way this should be working? I was expecting that the Tile gets removed from the "My home" group.

For Eg: For the MATNR 100 Units are EA,box and for MANR 101 Units are just EA.

A simple solution might be to just duplicate the report tab and call it Monthly. Then just change your table layout to display monthly data instead of weekly. This way your end users will have the choice to view it as weekly data or monthly.
Otherwise you are probably looking at using a universe prompt to try and make the display data dynamic. This has been asked a few times in the past. Here are a few SCN posts I dug up that may help you out

Previous Month & Last 12 Month Based on UserResponse
These should give you the basics of the concept. Basically you use a prompt to ask the user if they want Weekly or Monthly view and then use the UserResponse function to change the display of the data in the report.
