The role of that Business System must be integration server and the pipeline URL is like http://<host><port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

The configuration for Production Planning module starts at plant level. So its improtant to understand if the newly created plant is copy-created from exiting plant or a fresh one?
Please check with the responsible team if its created by copying existing plant which is already being used for production. If yes then you need not to configure much of the settings as almost all settings from previous plant will get copied to new one. It all depends on the existing configration of your SAP landscape.
Again it all depends on how business if planning to run the new plant. Its really hard to decide what configrations are needed without kowing the nature of plant and business requirement for the plant.
For newly created plant (not copy created), Yes you have to carry out configrations depending upon whats needed from the plant.

Initially we book expenses to cost centre. Here cost centre will get debited with combination of cost element. When you charge over heads from this cost centre to order, then the part of expenses get debited to order and same time it credits to cost centre.

If there is a split in WPBP then you will get 2 periods in payroll log as suggested by Saroj.
If you want any amount without split then change that particular WT PRCL 20 with spec as 4.
If you don't want to use the objects, I'd recommend hiding them for a period at first (available via the right-click menu).
Then you'll need to see where else these are used, such as in @Select statements in other objects and predefined conditions. As well as that, review the reports in which they are used and determine if they are still needed or how easy it is to manage the transition from that object in the affected report. Have you agreed with the report owner that the object in question will no longer be available?

I am implementing SAP business one in a Foam Industry. My client process is that they first make Blocks of Foam of different sizes and than cut those blocks in different sizes as per client requirement. In this way there are too much sizes. Can any one help me whats the best practice in this regard. I have already tried the multiple UOM and the length width height criteria in sap but it doesn't fulfill my requirement. Creating BOM for every item of different is quite hectic activity so need help in this regard.

How about it if you start WebGUI service directly, execute T-code MMBE?

I am working on Approvals and I am using SP Transaction Notification.
I would like the Purchase Request to be approved. The manager would get a Notification to Logon to SAP and approve the Purchase Request.
So I have used if @Object_Type = '112' ... (112 is for Draft Object , table ODRF)
This works fine...
However, when the Manager login and on Alert he click on the Message, update the status to APPROVED and click on UPDATE button
The object this time is not 112... Does anyone know which Object
I tried 81, 122 but this does not work .. I would like the request to get a mail back saying the Document is Approved pls Logon and add the Purchase Request

I have set up a trial for SAP Mobile Secure to test out some functionality.
The problem I am having is that I cannot push any policies/apps etc to the devices.
The devices enrol successfully.
When I try to apply config policies or install apps I get a successful message but nothing happens on the devices.
I have also noticed that there is an error that was brought up in a previous thread with regards the apple push certificate.
I don't think this is an issue as I can see in the server tab that a push certificate is already installed.
Any ideas on why the MDM is not working?

One of our business requirements is to be able to export the entire organization structure (Org units only) to pdf using the chartbook feature.
With 3.0SP3, this would not cause any issue.
As we are upgrading to 4.1SP2, we noticed that this would not be possible anymore.
By default, the application is limited to 1000 objects in normal mode (quick mode disabled). It is possible to extend this limit using SettingsRessource parameter:
Location: SettingsResources
File name: CB_FULL_MAX_NODES
Content : The max number of objects that can be generated with chartbook (in regular/non-quick mode)
Use this setting carefully as exporting to many object can overload the server memory.

If your macro is calculating some numbers on the basis of certain logic and values are available then of course it would consider the same (if this has been done in SNP).
On the other hand if you are executing these macros in DP, then just release your forecast against these custom categories accordingly and it would be considered. Make sure you don't restrict demand in CTM profile on planning scope tab.

We have a requirement in our outbound process, wherein we want to auto complete the HU once it goes to the pack work center. Our process is that after picking confirmation with pick HU, it goes to the pack work center. In the pack work center, we want to perform the automatic HU completion so that in POSC - step OB02 will auto create the WT to move from work center to the staging area.
Would this be possible in the standard configuration?

Hi Sumeet,
Your ICO will have all the related / configured objects in it. You need to just transport the ICO (assuming your BS & Channels) are already there in target System (if not then you need to transport these as well)

Hi,
Adding the new line works fine. But removing the new line before committing changed data does not work. You have to remove it from the matrix instead of removing it from data source by
Matrix0.DeleteRow(Matrix0.RowCount);
and afterwards, during data update event handling you have to add the new line again and restore the matrix by
Matrix0.LoadFromDataSource();
Now you will see the green line with a message that the procedure was completed. But unfortunately the data are not updated in the database. Changed data are only updated in the database when you add new data in parallel (within the new line).
Does anybody know how to resolve that issue?
