Hi,

 

it has been some time that I last installed the trial version on windows. The installer consists of a backend java process and some frontend java process.

 

The error message: "No gui Server connected ..." probably means that one of them did not start correctly.

 

I vaguely remember having such problems also and that the error was that some former process did not finish correctly and was still in the background. Perhaps killing all process via the task Manager or restarting windows does help. Also try to start the installer as Administrator (right click "start as administrator").

 

Note also that this is a duplicate of thread 1992999. In this thread, it is further suggested to start the installation with an OS user whose name consists only of english letters and to have the ancient Java version 1.4.2 installed.

Execute program - RSNAST00 in Tocde: SE38 - Execute with appropriate selections and then use VF31.

               Transmission medium             1

               Sort order                                   01

               Processing mode                      1 if first time and already individual printouts are taken then '2'.

Try reorder point planning VB (MRP type) for the same. Put reorder point as 10 in MRP1.

 

Let me know if it resolved your issue. Do one round of testing.

i think you have excisable invoice  after VF01 with J1iin or automatic method.

 

so this JV seems for excise invoice because with fiscal year 2015 can you check the document flow from Va03 to complete cycle.

Hi all,

 

We are currently debating on following Queries and looking for answers.

 

1. Is it possible to create same BW Hierarchy in HANA using HANA studio and consume in HANA live Content? (as an Example Profit and loss hierarchy)
   
   
   
2. What is the best approach for the reporting? Should we go with BW Queries for the reporting or is it merely HANA Live Reporting? (We are planning to implement HANA without using SAP BW for reporting and is this the recommended approach?)

 

   3.  If new customers are planning to implement S4HANA, what should we suggest for them for reporting? Should suggest them to install SAP BW or HANA Live Or Both?

Hi Malkit,

 

This error message basically means that you are trying to set an element within a node that has not been set so far.

To investigate further I'd recommend you to have a look at the "dump analysis" window of the studio. This should show a file and a line where this error originates from.

Hi all,

 

when displaying a TABLE as an ALV grid, sorted columns will merge (not show the same value in all lines).

 

Sometimes business people are better of without merging. In classical ALV I can use the NO_MERGING field in the field catalog.

 

I am using SALV here. Ist there any equivalent method in any CL_SALV* classes?

 

Every answer is welcome except "why do use SALV" :-)

Hallo,

bei uns läuft der Report ohne Quarantäne ordentlich durch. Es werden ebenfalls neue Datensatznummern (entsprechend der Anzahl der Datensätze) zurück gemeldet. Trotzdem gibt es keine Quittierungsmeldungen.

 

Sehr eigenartig...
