Hi,

Its just a TEMP version you can just revert in version mgmt. also I think no issues if its there even.

Cheers,

Abhishek,

I believe only one user can work on a project at a time.

When you create a project you give "Person Responsible", defaulted to current user. Check that, try changing it.

Experts correct me, if I am wrong.

Thanks

Krishna

Hi Roman,

  FYI. I read system copy guide before and I read installation guide of SWPM1.0.

Also, I install SAP HA several times but I do not install CI in the cluster node before.

Anyway, I still don't know what's going on with the profile parameters.

Re: Same Table in 3 Pages of Adobe.

Hi Rakesh,

Yes, I would like to do it using JavaScript, but I am pretty new to JavaScript.

Are you handy with JavaScript ?

What I was planning is,

to write the java script code, which could tell the table

to start printing the same data, on change of page.

It will work well, with my table in Master Page.

Will it be too lengthy ?

Please share your views, how to go ahead.....!!!!!!!!!!

Thanking You All.

Re: Filename Selection Issue..

Hi,

The upload can go like:

     CALL METHOD cl_gui_frontend_services=>gui_upload
         EXPORTING
           filename = gv_fpath
           filetype = 'ASC'
         CHANGING
           data_tab = gt_line_itm
         EXCEPTIONS
           OTHERS   = 1.
       IF sy-subrc NE 0.
         MESSAGE ID sy-msgid TYPE sy-msgty NUMBER sy-msgno
               WITH sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.

       ENDIF.

Then do the following considering there is no header data :

READ gt_line_itm INTO wa_line_itm INDEX 1.

Split the work area data based on separator. Assumption are the columns are separated by comma or space. Also

wa_line_itm

should have structure like

TYPES: BEGIN OF x_line_itm,
                line(10000) TYPE c,
            END OF x_line_itm.

The split logic with w_30fields as a structure with 30 fileds each say type C and length 40.

SPLIT w_line_itm AT gc_sep INTO w_30fields-field1

                                                   w_30fields-field2

                                                   w_30fields-field3

                                                   w_30fields-field4

                                                   w_30fields-field5

.... goes on till 30 fields

                                               IN CHARACTER MODE.

Then check field 7

IF w_30fields-field7 IS space the file is 6 columns. Thats all

Cheers,

Arindam

Hi Satish,

Please follow the steps below :

1) Login to visual admin using j2ee_admin user id.

2) Goto Cluster-Services-Security Provider.

3) Goto Tab : Policy Configurations - Security roles

4) Select the 'Administrators' Security role and Click on 'Add'  button.

5) You will get a popup screen for choosing users.

6) Give your user id in 'name' and click on 'Search'.

7) It checks from SAP Ids and displays. When it appears, select and click ok.

Hi Zerandib,

If in Se11, the index name is active , could you check in Db02 -> Missing Indexes whether there is any entry. From there as well you can perform "Create in DB" index creation steps.

Hope this helps.

Hi Philip,

Have you checked whether /usr/sap/SID/DVEB*/exe folder exists ??

If not please create it and manually copy the kernel files into this folder.

Additionally check in start profile whether there is a step for sapcpe ?

Hope this helps.

Hi ,

Looks like Smartform ZJYOTI_SALEORDR_VER2 was directly modified in Production.

You may check the difference in the production and development version. In case there is no difference,

while importing you may select the option "Overwrite originals". The transport will move trough successfully.

Hope this helps.

Deepak Kori

I'm the developer of DataLink Viewer (DLV). The feature of dynamic and cascading parameters via linked rpt files is a custom implementation and is not a standard part of the Crystal runtime.

Try this:

Check the setting of RIWO1-EQUNR field in SPRO . If the Radio-button is in 'Required',

Change the setting to 'Input' .Following is the path to this setting in SPRO.

This setting is in the 'Field Selection Reference Objects PM Notification' section of following SPRO path.

Fact1 has all the measures like Total Volume Counts. PT_DATE_DIM and EMP1_DIM are not a fact table. They were  view (May be I did not read the model correctly). The model shows relationship between the view PT_DATE_DIM and table DATE_DIM as M:1 and EMP1_DIM and EMPL_DIM as M:1. So, while building my universe do I need to consider these DIM tables and Views? Can I directly Join View with Fact tables with 1:M relatioships ? or I need to bring in DIM tables and Views also?

Re: Week To Date

Hi Rakesh,

I finally have a calendar table that shows week number, start date, end date, prev start date, prev end date, etc

....

I tried writing code for WTD as

sum(case when datepart(yyyy,SalesDetail.DateSold)=datepart(yyyy,getdate()) and datepart(wk, SalesDetail.DateSold)=datepart(wk,getdate()) and SalesDetail.DateSold<= getdate() then SalesDetail.QuantitySold else 0 end)

This gives me the week to date for the current date. How do I change this so I get the WTD for the week the user wants. For example if they enter 5, I will need WTD, MTD, YTD for week 5.

Thanks for your help. Appreciate it much.
