Pre-requisites for SAP HANA
I want to learn SAP HANA. I enquired with all the ATC's. They are saying it is not possible to opt for SAP HANA course. SAP BI/BW or ABAP are the pre-requsiites for it.
What is the career path. Please guide me and share your experience on SAP HANA course from ATC's.

Hello Sreenivas,
Kindly add the missing class in the field something like "Queue connection factory".
Note :
- If it is a sender channel, then you need to add it in source tab.
- If it is a receiver channel. then you need to add it in target tab.
The above settings apply only to JMS-MQ channel.
Just for information, this class acts as library class which connects MQ with PI through JMS Queue.
For every connection of PI with MQ you use this library class, and route them through different folders in MQ which we call JMS Queue.

Exchange rate difference in GR and IR or GR and GR reversal
Hi Experts,
Please help me with the below case:
GR - 1000 quantity - 100 USD - 110 MXN (exchange rate during month of January)
IR - 1000 quantity - 100 USD - 120 MXN (exchange rate during month of April)
Can you please let me know how to knock off the exchange rate difference? Or weather it is required to do so? If not, why?
Similarly,
GR - 1000 quantity - 100 USD - 110 MXN
GR reversal (102) - 1000 quantity - 100 USD - 120 MXN

Quality based deduction of vendor payment
Hi,
We have a scenario where the material is subjected to quality check after GR. If the moisture percent is more than a specific value, then there will be a deduction from the vendor's dues as penalty.
We want this deduction to take place with minimum or no manual intervention. Please let me know if you have any idea to map this.
I have thought of following options and the issues with that.
1. There is a good article by Kaushik on this subject. There he drives the PO rate change from the "follow up" action of UD. I can not do this as only 1 of multiple deliveries can have the penalty, while other deliveries are in spec, so no deduction for those deliveries. Also, not sure if PO rate can be changed after GR.
2. Posting a subsequent debit driven by the " follow up" action of UD . but this requires at least one invoice to be posted before a Sub debit can be posted. In our case, the invoice is posted after quality clearance.
Any ideas will be highly appreciated.

Hello Poulami,
Looking at the IDoc content, it seems that there is a batch session generated through BDC programming with the header content(ZIS_IDOC_FIN_HDR segment of IDoc) and the item content(ZIS_IDOC_FIN_INFO segment of IDoc). This entire flow is related to FI process. The header contents can be checked in APQI table and item contents can be checked in APQD table. However, AFAIK, APQI table does not contain all the fields that are there in header content of the IDoc. Same is the case with item content. As a result of which depending on the end to end flow in the complete business process this error might be occurring where the IDoc could not possibly be parsed at the initial header level.
So, I suggest you to please check the functional flow as well in order to understand the reason for this error.
Also, you can check the date format as Amit suggested.

A Question about the Automatic Creation of Central Persons
Hi Experts,
i have been working in an HCM system in which the Concurrent Employment and the Management of Global Employees components are not used. However, during a hiring action (PA40) a central person (CP) is automatically created and saved in HRP1001 with relation "A209". I checked table T77S0 but found nothing configured there.
I would like to find out why CP is created. I guess there must be some settings or user exit / badi responsible for that. Do you have any suggestion for me what to check? Any idea what can cause the system to create th CP automatically during the hiring action?

On-Hand Stock
Dear Expert,
I need to get stock on-hand by Product ID and Warehouse ID to my custom business object.
I guess It's " PhysicalInventoryCount " business object. It's have all our warehouse id but don't have product ID in there.
Is it in ProductionAndSiteLogisticsExecution deployment units?
Please tell me how can I get stock on-hand by SDK.

Instead of what suggested Shrikant another possibility is to use SSMS and after modify the destination application with process application to rebuild the OLAP

Hi Mohammad,
SAP doesn't have a ready made CAD system, however it has needed integration and User Interface software to integrate CAD systems. SAP Engineering Control Center is one of the recent and best interfaces ever produced. It comes with predefined interfaces for 8 best CAD systems (could be more), you can find more information here ECTR Wiki , sap help ECTR page and a short overview here on my blog.
It also has CAD Desktop (cDesk) to integrate CAD systems. You can find more information on it here and look for CAD desktop or CDesk. Here is the sap help link for the same.
I would suggest to look at ECTR option as its really easy to install and provide an intuitive User interface for the CAD users to integrate with SAP.
