Thanks for the reply. But the scenario is old connector which is maintained in data source and business rules is no more functional. I am not able to modify connector name in data source so I am trying to copy it and update with new connector. But its not allowing for this also.

According to this note "The program initially selects all connectors available (16 in our example), but then it tests each connector and will only display on the final list those that are working."

Is'nt there any way like any table in SAPGUI where I can update data source and Bis rule directly? because old connector test will fail for sure.

why don't go for trigger itself instead of calling procedure from the trigger.

it will work and suitable for your requirement.

let me know if u need sample code or any other help.

Hi Dorra,

 

This is a multi server installation. The EPM addin is fine as the same version is used for the test and development systems. I am able to run reports and save data there.

 

Since the upgrade, we are getting this error. Further, when upgrading it, we got the error: "cannot open backup device '\\<servername>\OsoftSample\EnvironmentShell.db10' Operating System error 5 (Access is denied).

 

Sap Note: 1681663 said that this could be ignored. After installation, the admin client is working fine but the epm addin is throwing up this error.

Hi Debra,

         We have cetain system constraints due to which we were unable to implement SAP provided solution for ACA Benefits. Our client is asking for custom development in this regard. I have no clue how to provide a low level design to my ABAPer to do the development. Can you provide a document or some valuable inputs on how to proceed further? Also, let me know approx how much time it might take if we do a custom development.

Do you have a dimension that split sale price, Qty and amount?

if not then you need to create one.

 

You can have a calculation to calculate amount if sales price and QTY is entered.

You control the sign by changing its acc type for that member.

if you want all income as positive then just * -1.

Hi Donka,

 

just one more question about the SSO for Fiori client. From the document you provided I understand that all the steps performed there is to use Apache Cordova to install a plugin in order to register and properly handle the custom scheme "sapfioriclient". Will the same approach work for other mobile apps? Or another question: if there is another mobile app, which has a custom scheme already, e.g. myiosapp, do we still need to perform this "workaround" and do the re-build?

Hi,

 

It is a bad practice to use BPC info objects to build your custom infocube.

 

the error means that there is no such field called ZENTITY in your infocube.

 

Do you have that in your infocube?

Also make sure when you run the package, under selection button, last tab, the field name is ticked to be used in the data load.

pls help R Brahmankar, SRS KANNAN, Vinoth Kumar AP. I am not getting the change button in maintain hierarchy also (/sapapo/relhshow). Planner-User assignment (/sapapo/usrpln) shows my user with 'All Planning Rights'.

I have PB 12.1 & 12.5 running on Windows 10.  I had to disable the windows service "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service" in order for the IDEs to start up.

Thanks Pete, for giving me the lead. I shall work on it and will update the thread. Meanwhile, I started working on IAIH0001 - Customer-Enhancements for Tasklists. Only problem with this exit is - we can add custom fields on header and not on operations. Below snap shall help in understanding.

I will check the possibility of using the renderComplete event. Actually, my chart is not even rendering when my model is supposedly empty, so I cannot use the event for now. I did see another thread where an empty chart was rendered from an emtpy model so I know it is possible.

You can use as below, where aa = date type for hire date and bb = date type for leaving date

The variable 4 = h returns hours in the following units

  A - days, E - full weeks, O - full months, Y - full years

Hello Everyone,

 

I want to understand how does security work with Simple Finance in the landscape? Is Fiori used to secure who has to what? Do we authorize users to the views in HANA directly or does the native Tcode/Auth. level security still work? What is the best practice?

Check the /SCMTMS/D_TOREXE table in TM using PARENT_KEY from  EH TOR_ROOT_K.

 

 

"Read from EM" shown in execution info only if the event information not exist in table  /SCMTMS/D_TOREXE.

 

schedule the batch job in TM using program /SCMTMS/PROCESS_TRIGGER_BGD using trigger id PROPAGATE_EXECUTION_INFO.

 

Refer the below OSS notes for TM event loss. Can i know the TM version ?

Hello,

We recently ran into an issue DB Name parameter for hana clients (ODBC, JDBC and HDBSQL) does not work properly in the multi-tenant setup.

The the parameter seem to do nothing just trying to connect to port 30<synr>15... The first-created tenant works ok as it listens on the port 30<synr>15. However for all additional tenants that listen on different port you need to find out which port it is and specify it explicitly. Finding the right port is a project in its own right - HANA Monitoring Multi-tenancy - you got to do the detective work and find the  process id for the index server-<DB Name>, then for the process get a port and increment it by 1 ... really?! no reeeaaallly???!!!

To add the insult to the injury - if you run hdbsql on the HANA appliance - it works ok with only the -d <DB Name> ...remotely - forget about it - have to use the "secret" port...

Hey SAP - sounds to me like an ugly bug! If you provide the parameter (DBNAME/-d) it has to work.. plus you have to document the tenant port logic....
