RF Screen developments

This is regarding Radio frequency screens.

 

 

   Custom control, table control is not supported in RF screen development.

 

 

Currently, the screen was developed using custom control but it is not displaying in RF device hence we need to replace with input field/text field for displaying multiple lines of text

 

 

1) Currently values are coming from READ_TEXT ...how to populate this values in  multiple text/input field one after the other.

 

2) if i use a push button then how can input values change based on pressing push button values coming from read_text.

 

 

Kindly suggest the best possible solutions

Hello,

 

As Nicolaas says, the Tunknown is harmless.

The 'Tunknown' object is a replacement when the database interface (DBSL library) doesn't know the name of the object.

Is necessary to reimport model, remap your contexts and clear rfc server cache to see the changes.

Theme is not getting deleted in UITheme designer

Hi All,

 

We have created multiple themes using theme desginer and now we decide to delete some of the themes. It was showing as deleted but actually not deleting the theme. Can someone help me on this?

Hi Maheswarareddy,

Readiness checks and Smoke test both are same?

 

For me it is not the same. Smoke test is done mainly in development environment to check there is not issues with connectivity, configuration issues, data problems, exceptions in determinated cases of mapping, and so on. It is the first stage of the tests.

However readiness test is done in the last stage of testing (What is Operational Readiness Test and how to perform ORT testing?). Talking in integration world, we have not final users, it is a set of tests with business (functional) tasks, thought for the particular scenario.

For me, only one kind of test more would be performed, depending the interface, for example in SOAP to proxy, to do tests with the application to generate that SOAP requests.

 

i have reediness checks points,can you please share list of points related to Smoke test?

As i said depends about your interface. For example for file sender, to test the read, delete and archive is done, if you use FCC check a basic case independent of the business rightness of the data; if you have a complex mapping a set of test that you can test each different alternative; and so on.

How to put string in tag in email body

Hi experts,

 

I have a requirement to give a dynamic link in the body of email.

 

the dynamic link may look like http://okucis96.od.cssdom.com:8001/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/bs_ovp_bp?CREQUEST=000000000737&CRTYPE=ZCUSTCRE&ACTION=CREATE&IS_CREQ_MODE=X&WDCONFIGURATIONID=BS_OVP_CU_CL&SAP-CLIENT=100&SAP-LANGUAGE=EN

 

I have this link in a variable of type String.

 

How can i put tis in <a href> tag.

 

I tried the below code. Its not working.

 

data : OV_URL type string.


**code to get dynamic link into OV_URL


CONCATENATE '<A HREF="&OV_URL&">' OV_URL '</A>' INTO LS_OBJ_CON.

APPEND LS_OBJ_CON TO LT_OBJ_CON.

 

Output will be a hyperlink but the link will be something like tis-   saphtmlp://htmlviewer.sap.com/051Mei{P7jMYmAQBsfE7jG/&OV_URL&

 

Please suggest where im going wrong.

Hi Michael,

 

As I understand you try to use IDOC type SHPMNT*

In this case it is better to use XSL-mapping but how choose where is pallete and where is Carton??

Thanks Graham. As ECC 6.0 runs on Netweaver, I take it that NW Gateway installation should not be a problem.

Yes, I was referring to SAP NW Gateway. I need to use it to integrate a GIS application with an existing SAP ECC based asset management system.

Hello Marc,

All your queries worked well hbere. I am trying now to retrieve the comment but I am having some difficulties. The CMMT colunm is an integer. Probably the comment is a table but I did not figure out where it is. Could you help me again with this information?

Hi,

 

PreQuery reports are slower than standard reports.

That's why I wouldn't think about creating multiple sub querries.

 

But you can try. Some might be good for you.

So,

if you want to exclude the row, simply right click and delete. Altenatevely, if you want to set some value to the cell, click on the cell and enter some value.

May be because the development system doesn't have data any data.

 

Could you give some date range for posting date. You might try some date range for which data is existing in the system. If you are not sure about the data, then give 01.01.2010 to 31.12.2015. Lets see if any data is available in development system.

 

May I know why are you trying this in development system? if there is no specific reason, you could do the activity in quality system or production system itself. As you are trying to load the data for first time, you could delete the data and reload anytime again.
