You can use up to 3GB in a 32 bit application if the LARGEADDRESSAWARE flag is set on the executable.
I've used a third party utility (4GB Patch Tool), to set that flag for other programs (e.g., Eclipse, Flash Builder). I haven't tried it on a PowerBuilder generated executable though.

We can update delivery quantity but the picked quantity is in decimals and system doesn't not allow you to PGI anything with decimals (Drums,ROL and pallets). These Uom should always be in whole numbers.

Try this and tell us, close all the IE sessions and from task manager make sure there is no IE process running. After try try to open a new window and long with different user and try and tell if you still get same error message.
Most likely its reusing the session.

Early setup of New Hires
Hello Everyone,
We are looking to process a new hires from HCM into SAP IdM a few days earlier then their designated start date (rather than on the day).
We do not want to affect HCM transfers or terminations with above change – only new hires. This is to allow AD account to be set-up in advance of person starting so that other IT activities can be completed.
Any easy way to achieve this in LDAP extract, or in VDS or in HCM to IdM pass?
Just want to find out if anyone has implemented this kind of solution. What are the ways of achieving this?

Invalid Object Error only on 64-bit OS
PB 12.5.1 Build 4015
I have been getting some calls recently from some customers reporting an 'Invalid Object Error' message. The object it is complaining about is global window object. This object is only opened during startup and closed during shutdown. After trying to trouble shoot for weeks I had one of my customers move their user from a 64-bit OS back to a 32-bit OS with the same software installation and they haven't had the problem since (over 2 months ago). I am at a loss as to try and figure out what might be causing this to happen. Has anyone out there experienced anything similiar? Also, how does one go about trying to trouble shoot this kind of error?
One last thing that might be a factor? The global window has a reference to the PlaySound function from the WinMM dll. I read some early posts (2011) about this dll being an issue on 64-bit OS's but the result they were getting was no sound would play. Could a failed dll call cause the global object to become invalid for some odd reason? Other than that it is all PB code - that seems to run perfectly onm a 32-bit OS.
Thanks for any thoughts and/or troubleshooting suggestions.

the ABAP application code doesn’t have an access to the assertion attributes. This is because it is assumed that it should not depend on the authentication procedure.
There is the option to map saml 2.0 attributes for transient users but here usually only groups of external users (for example members of the purchasing organization of a third party) are mapped to one technical user.

I was honestly expecting to convert them to frequent flyer miles at 3:1 ratio so that I could finally buy the couch pet steps that I saw in Skymall the last time I flew on TWA. I'm hoping that they didn't raise the price in the last twelve years.
If not I would gladly exchange them for some hotel points, so I can finally get a deluxe hotel robe instead of being sadden by the check baggage limits that prevent me from taking one home as it would put my checked bags over the limit and I would not want to have to pay the $50 overweight fee.

Performance tuning is a very large topic. Please provide specifics of your issue.
- is your system a VM
- check ST03n transaction, what do you see, response time, large DB time.
- is the problem generic for all transactions or only specific transactions. If it is all transactions, it is probably a server configuration issue.
Check your server for
- CPU utilization
- Paging
- RAM utilization
- Storage Performance
What is the size of your database and what is the DBMS you are using.
What is the sizing of the server you are running it at. CPU/RAM etc.

Is there a way to associate storage location with process order resource
I'm trying to find out if it's possible to determine an association of a backflush location (or staging area) name with a resource used to make an item.
If I display a process order (tcode COR3) and go to the master data tab, I have a master recipe resource group. If I double-click on that resource group, the system will execute tcode C203 to display the master recipe. On the Operations tab of the display, there is a column named "Resource", and that resource appears to be the same as what I get if I run a listing of work centers (tcode CR05).
When doing adjustments to inventory when the backflush areas are physically counted, a movement is recorded that would write inventory off if the physical count is lower than the system value.
What I'm trying to determine is whether there is ANY relationship between the storage location name referenced in the writeoff and the resource name used to produce that same material, with the idea being to produce a material utilization report by resource name. I don't believe there is any such tie, but I'd just like to be sure.
