What is indexed in chart of account?
I noticed in the chart of account there is an indexed check box. Is this like index in a database or more like a control type of option to track entries. Maybe I am wrong with my assumptions.

Hi Moses,
As you might've calculated the Time Difference in Excel using formulas with functions supported in Excel, you'll have to do that again in Webi with formula that works in Webi.
First you'll have to create Max and Min Date Timestamps and then created a final formula to calculate the difference.
Max Time Stamp = Max([Date Time Stamp] foreach ([ID])
Min Time Stamp = Min([Date Time Stamp] foreach ([ID])
Time Difference = You can derive the formula from this blog Difference between two date

Your code seems right but sometimes connection fails due to IP/Name configuration. Check Choose Company form within SAP Business OneClient to make sure you are giving the right values. Also could you try connecting with the below pattern?

In Some Codes it says ret == 0 shows connection Failed but Some says ret == 0 shows Connected And
when i am using this

i got message "connection Ok".
but no sure whether it is connected or not....

Hi,
I was wondering the same thing.
This would also give us an alternative to post a table over XS OData as well.
I read in the SAP HANA Development Guide that SAP pushes the use of batch requests for multiple line post operations.
When creating services using a Gateway server (SAP) and normal ECC backend, I would create an entity with a relation & association to itself. This way I could post multiple lines of the same type as a property of that type.
I tried to create a stored procedure in which I can process multiple lines coming from an input, which is possible and works. But I'm stuck at the part where you define the deep type in the XS OData model and wheter it's possible to create a table type (on HANA) with a deep structure that matches the one you defined in the XS OData model. This way I could process a deep type POST request in a stored procedure.
This all just to enrich your question and hopefully get an answer myself.

Send emails from SAP via Microsoft outlook.
Dear all,
we have a requirement from client , to save emails from SAP to some folder outside system. For this I found OLE as one option and another is mails send from SAP should be via Microsoft outlook this means it should appear in the sent items folder. In both cases I have option to save the Sent items in the Microsoft Outlook using the OLE method.
1. if we are using OLE to send email - then I am unable to set the From / Sender of the email. by default it send mail from the mail id of the profile set in the system from which the program is executed. so if I run the ole program to send mail , the mail is send from my outlook. I can not forcefully set sender to some other mail id as we do in Abap coding using cl_bcs class.
2. can we divert the mails send from SAP using cl_bcs class to sent it from Microsoft outlook instead of from SOST . this way the mails will be appearing in the sent items of microsft outlook.
Need expert advice on this. May be there is another way to this requirement.

I am not IT background did my BE in mechanical stream currently working as design engineer on CATIA tool (CAD engineer) have 3 years experience in this field. Presently i would like to shift to SAP PLM integration with CAD. If i learn SAP PLM with my current domain..is it useful and suitable to my profile. Apart from learning SAP PLM did i learn any other related tools related to SAP PLM? Order Approvals
Dear Experts,
In our business,If any discounts are there in sales order, it will go for a approval cycle and approver receives an email
Please suggest on the below 2 points regarding the same.
- Approver is not receiving an email to alert him that he has orders for approval in 'my area'. Where can I check the reason for this .where is the setting for this.
- If the order are for approval that means there is a discount, how / where do approver see the discount that the employee has applied from area?
Any help/ suggestion to resolve the 1st issue and suggestion on 2nd case is highly appreciated.

Infocube and Query output mismatch
Hi All,
I have the following values in Infocube.
WBS ELEM EmpNo Amount Quantity Unit of Measure
WBS1 1111 250 2 EA
WBS1 1111 100
WBS1 1111 500 4 EA
WBS1 1111 200
WBS1 1111 250 2 EA
When i execute the query, it is not considering the values where quantity is blank.
My query output should be 1300.
Now it shows 1000.
Could anyone please provide the solution?

I have an ALV with more than 3000 lines and 62 columns.
I have the problem, that I get a dump with error MESSAGE_TYPE_X in program SAPLOLEA. The dump is be created in function AC_SYSTEM_FLUSH when calling the function AC_FLUSH_CALL, which ends with SY-SUBRC = 2. This makes a dump.
What can be the error?
