Hi,

 

your issue is in the date format. you are using function

 

setVariableValueExt()...

and this is expecting "external format", which is locale-dependent.

 

you are using at the same time getDate, which is returning internal format, as written in documentation.

 

getDate()

Returns the selected date.

 

Parameters

None

Returned Value

String. It contains the date in the format "yyyymmdd".

 

so, you need

* either convert always to external format and use the "ext" funtion - which is required if you want to use ranges

* or use getDate() and pass into the "setVariableValue()" funtion, but this is probably not working for ranges.

The error is gone.

 

However, the values in the new column are staying at "0".  I suspect it may be something wrong in my subreport.  I assume there should be a value generated that shows up in the subreport for the array formula?  If so, nothing is showing up there.  Just a blank field.

 

I created a formula called "array" using your formula and placed it in the subreport.

I have ASP.Net pages that display a Crystal Report in the CrystalReportViewer.

 

The web site that hosts the ASP.Net uses FormsAuthentication for a user to log in to view the reports.

 

I use Crystal Reports 2011.

 

The version of Crystal Reports for Visual Studio is 13.0.2000.0.

 

After the timeout expires and the user attempts to use the CrystalReportViewer to go to another page or something, it shows a box with a message "Please wait while the document is being processed".  See the attached screenshot.  It just stays showing that message.  If the user does a reload of the page then it goes back to the login page like it is suppose.

 

If the user tries to use the CrystalReportViewer after the timeout then I would rather it gracefully handle it and go back to the login page.  Is there a way to do that?

Sorry I meant sharing column axis with another report from a different model?

 

The data would contain the same dimensions which are in the column axis.

Generally When you have logic to display or get PDF directly for any Output we will process OTF related Control Parameter as 'X' -

 

control_param-getotf = 'X'.

 

By this we will directly get PDF output. When you use this option Spool will not be generated  by the system. You need to pass SPACE for this Or System Settings Flag for this GETOTF control Parameter. Then Only spool will get generated.

Krishna,

we hesitate to give you estimates on database and hardware sizing because, as Gabi states, sizing for EIS will vary from customer to customer based on the characteristics of the supply chain being modeled.  Inputs for the sizing are the number of stocking points, number of supply paths, Bill of Material details (if applicable), the number of future periods to model, the number of historical periods of forecast and sales provided, lead times across the supply chain model and the number of models you will keep.
To make some very GENERAL comments, the more material sharing that occurs in your network the more memory needed to optimize (solve for Safety Stock) the model.  Two customers can have the same number of stocking points and supply paths but if one has a distribution-only supply chain while the other has a model with a very detailed Bill of Material the distribution-only model will require much less memory to optimize.
Any further sizing information should go through Consulting as Gabi has indicated.  Sizing an EIS implementation is somewhat unique and therefore general, cookie-cutter recommendations are not useful.

Hi All,

 

I am facing the below error while saving a dummy task and when I debugg I don't see any Gateway calls failing are throwing erro from Chrome Network.

Please find the attached screen shots.

 

And my 2nd issue is Itried to customize my Launchpad Logo and backgroun images, background image is reflected well but the Logo is not the same.

While preview it showing my custom Logo but when I vire from the client browser it is not.

Hi Guyz,

I have created a new page and a main window and in main window a text element. In main window of first page i have created a command line to go to new page. My new page is appearing at last but the text is not appearing on page. When i created 2 new secondary window their text is printing but main window text is not printing.

Hello Vivek,

 

Creating an investment measure is done with the transaction ANVEST, the
Investment support can only be posted with predifined transaction
types Ixx, Jxx and Kxx. Where xx, stands for the investment measure
where these tty belong to. Any other combinbation is neither allowed
nor supported.
If you try to post with tty Zxx which are assigned to the transaction
type groups for investment support (50, 51, 52), xx must be an
investment measure, too.

Note 529678 says:
  o  As described in Note 67448, subsequently copy transaction type
     Kxx of your investment support.

     -  Example: Your investment support measure is Z9, therefore copy
        transaction type KZ9 to, for example, LZ9.

you will also need to limit the depreciation area to be posted in
transaction OAXI for transaction type  K01.

on Windows you probably would need to shutdown ASE, rename the log file, and reboot ASE.

 

Alternatively, run sp_errorlog twice, eg:

 

================

sp_errorlog 'change log', <new_file_name>

go

--

-- out in OS rename/move <old_file_name>

--

sp_errorlog 'change log',<old_file_name>

go

================

 

This should get you back to using the original log file name, which also means there's no need to update the RUNserver file (or Windows registry) with a new log file name (ie, next time the server is started it'll continue to use the 'normal' name).

Obviously (?) if there is a process that monitors the errorlog it will need to be checked to make sure a) it knows how to switch over to a new log file after executing sp_errorlog or b) it is reconfigured/restarted to find the new log file.
