Hi,

 

I just installed the latest SP02 for the ASE 16.0 (over an existing ASE 16.0 SP01 installation) on our local Windows 2012 Server. Turns out, installation works fine, but the sqlserver.exe won't start any more.

 

Of course we have support, so after creating a SAP Case (sorry, i mean incident), the technical support tells me that my operating system is not supported. You need Windows 2008 R2 or Windows 2012 R2 (so not just Windows 2012). This really frustrates me, because in the specs of the ASE 16.0 (no SP), the Windows 2012 Server IS supported. So SP02 breaks this supported OS! Technical supports advice is to upgrade  from our Windows 2012 Datacenter to Windows 2012 R2 datacenter. In the windows world, this is pretty pricy, so not really an option for us at the moment...

 

Just wanted to post this, so that anyone running ASE 16 on a Windows 2012 (not R2) is notified if they want to upgrade to the SP02.

Hi,

Why you want to stop automatic creation of inforecord for a specific PO type?

 

You can stop the automatic creation of inforecord  with OMET ( default value for purchasing) & OMZT  and SU01 for specific users.

 

Instead of specific PO type - you can go for specific users.

 

Go for creation PO from Contract where no  inforecord  required by assigning of  default value for purchasing in Parameter ID EVO in SU01 t.code for few users

 

Go for creation PO from PR where  inforecord  required where no assignment required of default value for  in Parameter ID EVO in SU01 t.code for specific users

Hi Bruce Li,

 

we are creating this from IC agent role, so it is interaction record only. But after upgrade we are not getting CRMCICANCH.

 

There is one observation is the IC Agent session have session with name 'WS' (Working Session)' and no session getting started with AS'(Agent Session) . If we artificially change Ws to AS then it getting geneated becuase of SET_ANCHOR method getting triggered.

 

Any idea why 'WS' (Working Session)' is not started for IC agent?

Hi, i need extend report MCGE to show custom  ratio from S121 table , but this is a standard estructure  which does not allow modifications. What options do i have to do it ?

Hi Ivan,

 

I assume you had the issue while trying to create custom tiles to open web gui from the Launchpad. The issue was resolved after creating rfc to backend using naming convention <SID>_HTTP and I used the created rfc name as system alias in the LPD_CUST.

For the error log "EMPTY_STRING_IS_NOT_ALLOWED_FOR_COMMAND_OUTSIDE___ERROR__", it should be caused by the global variable $G_BATCH_COMMAND" was an empty string.

 

 

 

Check if you have populate that variable correctly?

 

 

 

It should be either one of the below:

- 'DELETE'

- 'REPLACE'

- 'INSERT_UPDATE'

- 'PURGE_RELOAD'

Hi Michael,

thanks for the fast reply. I saw that note but the escenario is not valid since it suggest a program error in a plant where Material Ledger is not active. My plant has Material ledger activated.

Anyways I checked for posibilty of implementation of the note but its not implementable for my SAP package.

    We have just migrated to 7.4 and we found the same issue in ZXRSRU01 user exit with STRING or XSTRING offsets. Did you find any SAP solution to solve it or did you made ABAP logic changes ?

Since backend url is https based, you have to import its certificate How To...Configure HCPms to Consume OData Services via HTTPS

 

There is also HTTP based url for same content: you should be able to ping it successfully.

http://sapes1.sapdevcenter.com:8080/sap/opu/odata/sap/ZGWSAMPLE_SRV/

 

Choice is yours.

Hi ,

 

I am sending sales order from C4C to ECC via HCI.

 

After deploying artifact Request External Data from SAP Business Suite ,IT_ORDER_EXTENSIONS segment is not created in target payload.

 

The same scenario is replicated using " SAP Process Integration " as middle ware and the IT_ORDER_EXTENSIONS segment is created in target payload.

 

Your help is much appreciated.

Hello Everyone,

 

I am working on CCLM and i configured CCM for three systems in our landscape(BD3,RD3,CD3) ,but in the city model(right side top corner) in the systems i am able to see only one(BD3) system.

could someone help me out to fix this.

Hi Ranajay,

 

thank you for the advice! But it is not possible to output two data.frames correct? The workaround would be to use two PA filters.

The R-integration is really a key feature here.
