Thanks a ton for the response.
Now that i see a response, let me be more specific.
SYNC Scenario
Soap over HTTP -> PI -> ECC
1. When PI receives the message need to send out a Acknowledgement to a JMS queue in a particular format which encompasses some fields in the header which is sent.
2. When a failure in PI happens needs to send out an "acknowledgement" in the same format back to sender to a JMS queue.
I read blogs over acknowledgment using SOAP adapter which is not directly supported.
This format of the message basically contains the Business transaction ID amongst some other fields which is uniform across all participating applications.This is then used by the Sender for all reporting which they are using for all applications now and hence the "world" gets to know centrally what has happened.
I am tryin to get this requirement assessed and the async can come later.Your help is appreciated as i have some deadlines which are stringent.

FIND IN BYTE MODE should work for you. I think CS is a text operator which doesn't work for binary objects. For example FIND LV_TAG_1_C IN FT_DATA_FILE_C-DATA IN BYTE MODE and then you can use sy-fdpos and the other option of FIND to extract your data.

I tried the same and its working. So, even though we can see 1..1 occurrence but in runtime defined context handling for multiple IDocs is serving the purpose of looping over the n number of IDoc and creating one single file with as many line items as the number of IDocs.

Webi - Keep last values selected RESETS Context
Hi all,
I am encountering an issue with Webi report based out of Universe. The Universe has a set of contexts(join paths) defined in it. Below are the sequence of steps
Step 1: When the report is run, it asks the user to select a context.A context is selected and report runs based that context and any of the prompts selected by the user. Initially the "Keep last values selected" is turned On for the report when created.
Step 2: From Data access tab click Edit to launch Query panel, from Query properties --> Context section, Uncheck "Reset context upon refresh". Click Ok. Now for the prompts in the "Query Filters" section Uncheck the "Keep last values selected" for any prompt in "Parameter properties" window. Click Ok.
Step 3: Do "Apply changes and close" in Query Panel to go back to the report.
Step 4: Now refresh the report. I see that the user is again asked to select the Context despite they have unchecked "Reset context upon refresh". If I check back the Query properties context section, my previous context is blanked out.
Bottom line, when ever I am changing something on the "Keep last values selected" from the prompts section, it resets my previously selected Context. Any help in understanding the root cause and a work around is appreciated.

Hi Experts,
We have implemented this script to treat User ID creation:
We were able to check if the value (jn this example TCheck) already exists on IDM database.
The finding is been done on idmv_entry_simple table as showed below,
If we create a new user like TCheck1, this value did not uptadate on IDM database, permiting that I create a new user with Tcheck1 again.
Maybe we are finding this value in the wrong table.
Does anyone have already faced this before?

Just a business process question - is the FX valuation only done at month-end? What will be the FX rate used to pay (F110) the vendor at the time of payment? Will it be the FX rate based on the revaluation closest to the last month-end or will it be the unchanged FX rate assuming that revaluation is only done at month-end?
I have an example below:
1. I posted an invoice on Jan 1 at FX rate of 1:1.
2. On Jan 5, I will run an F110 to pay for this invoice but the FX rate on Jan 5 has changed to 1:2.
- What will the FX rate to be followed for the payment? 1:1 or 1:2?
- Between, Jan 1 to Jan 5, will there be an FX revaluation? How is it done?

Need help applying SCM principles to SAP BPC?
Hi SAP experts,
I need help. I am trying to use SAP BPC NW 10.0 with Supply Chain Management or Procurement theme. I am new to all these. I am trying to map the SCM steps to BPC Dimensions. I am aware that BPC has mandatory dimensions like Accounts, Entity, Time and Category. My question is, what are the possible members from SCM and into what dimensions do they belong in BPC? For ex. Procurement involves buying and selling products which has quantities and amounts attached to it. How do I put this information in BPC for reporting purpose?

In PIMON Message is only visible under adapter engine not in integration engine. However, through AAE I am not getting response from bank, message is getting expired in PI as well. please see the audit log, its shows that.
