Also, I think when you define the check mode, you should select the Prod Type as "A- Characteristic Evaluation" in the following node apart from the CTP settings.

 

Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP) -> General Settings -> Maintain Check Mode

You mentioned "Currently my supplier is not updating their promise date". can you elaborate why the supplier is not maintaining the required dates. you may discuss this with the supplier to make it a practice to enter the details.

 

Still if the supplier does not maintain the dates, then you may put up a validation in the system to make the required fields mandatory.

There is no message generated in standard for this that you can change to error.

 

You will have to define logic in BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST and check for downpayments and make the price field disabled in case downpayments exist

Hi Masa,

 

Tried with the steps, but can't figure out the URI for the workitem count. The upper left Purchase Orders (5), seems like count the total record instead of retrieving from odata.

 

 

Tried with the Class that I put in the scenario definition, CL_GBAPP_APV_PO_WORKITEM_COUNT but doesn't seem like working also.

HI Ajay, thanks for your input

i tried this but strangely the posting made by teh transfer doesnt include any postings to the business area..

the document mentions nothing about business area not in credit or debit position, is like if i were working with two assets not associated with business area, yet they have a business area in its master record.

 

is there a configuration i might be missing?

Did you try with other browsers ?

 

IE 10 (Compatibility View display mode) with Oracle Java 6 / Oracle Java 7 is supported for BOXI3.1 SP6.

Please check the PAM for details of your SP level.

Need to delete drop down values of activity in travel request portal

Hi,

 

We need to hide/delete few of the drop down values from activity in travel request creation in portal, i know that if we delete in R/3 it will effect here, as per the client requirement we need values in R/3 system but that few of the values should not appear drop down list .

1 material tax determined from BANG .it is wrong how to resolve this

 

First check the material master which plant is maintained i assume BANG(Bangalore) Plant is maintained hence it is copying BANG plant.

 

I assume you know how plant is determined, if you don't know please Google it.

 

And coming to TAX determination please refer the below  tread for better understanding of TAX determination.

And better if you could avoid short cuts, example ( HYD and BANG etc) since it it Global forum other country people may not understand your issue in better manner.

What do you mean by a period of 20 days? Why is there such a requirement?

 

In MMPV if give a date within the same month, it automatically determines the open period is the same as the new period and throws an error.

Hi Mark,

 

I don't think, it is possible to get the currency key reference for the amount fields in selection screen by using IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS.

 

I would suggest you the below work around option

 

     If you do not have the requirement of passing multiple values in either currency key field or amount field, you can go for normal input fields to design your input screen.

  • Create a structure with 3 fields , CURR, AMT_LOW, AMT_HIGH
  • Use currency reference field in structure with self structure name and CURR field, so that amount fields refer to the same structure's currency key
  • Create a node by using this structure and design the input fields from this context node
  • Now, the amount fields have the reference of currency key from the structure and it should work fine

Dear Users,

 

I have an issue like while creating material master user has given price control as 'V' i.e., moving average, but entered values in both moving price and standard price. Now the system is picking which price either moving or standard price, please suggest.

Can you please let us know that where are you expecting the Append field value, that is :

 

1) In the Event Parameters (When the event is triggered from UI)?

2) In some "structure" which you are already passing to the event as a parameter?

3) In the BO Attributes? [For this, Jocelyn has already stated the possible approach]

 

It would be good to see the screen shots of the following:

 

1) The UI Screen Where the new field is populated

2) The event trace and the "place" where you want to "see" this field value ... say, in the binding or the  workflow container or the BO Attributes .....whatever is applicable for your case in the above list.

In Step confirmation text level we don't have any option for formatting the texts. We can add as per our requirement just plain confirmation text.

Thanks for looking into the issue. I appreciate your help a lot.

 

But I think there is some confusion going around here. CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.TemplateEngine.dll is readily available from SAP and shipped along with the crystal installer for Visual Studio 2010 (.net 4.0). When I try to Add References in VS and click the .NET Assembly tab it's also listed there.

 

I am trying to create a report template and use it using RAS SDK. I got the clue about it from RAS SDK help file which has a code snippet showing how to apply a template.

 

Below is the code snippet as copied from help file:

Private Sub ChangeTemplate(ByVal templateRCD As ISCDReportClientDocument, ByVal targetRCD As ISCDReportClientDocument)    Dim templateEngine As ReportTemplateEngine = New ReportTemplateEngineClass()    Dim reportTemplate As ReportTemplate = templateEngine.CreateTemplateFromDocument(templateRCD)    reportTemplate.ApplyToDocument(targetRCD)
End Sub

In this example itself, first an instance of ReportTemplateEngineClass is created. When I was trying to create an instance of ReportTemplateEngineClass, it gave an error "Use an applicable interface". So I tried to create an instance of ReportTemplateEngine.

 

Kindly let me know the correct way to use it.

That is what i did and it's not working when i use it as a drill filter or input control. It only works if i use it as a column in the report. But, i want to use it as a drill filter.

我在sap的官网上看到Crystal Dashboard Design个人完整版要四万多,Crystal Dashboard Design部门版只有8000多,是个人完整版的五分之一。但是在功能对比上,部门版却比个人版多了两项,包括:连接至 Adobe LiveCycle Data Services和IBM Websphere、Microsoft SharePoint 和 Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 集成。

 

我想问两个问题,一个是个人完整版与部门版,他们之间到底有什么区别?有没有详细的功能对比?第二个问题是www.sap.com网站提供的 Crystal Dashboard Design 30天试用版,是否是上面提到的这个个人完整版?如果不是,主要区别在哪?另外这个30天试用版是否支持microsoft office 2013 x86?(我部门一部分人在用office 2010,一部分人在用2013)

其实我们部门的需求很简单,并不需要链接实时的、动态的、各种数据源的数据库来产生报表或者仪表盘。我们就是用一大堆原始的excel表格,目前会把这些excel表单用microsoft excel软件内部的功能形成各种数据图表,比如直方图、雷达图什么的。

 

但是随着我们面对的问题越来越复杂,需要动态的展示,比如某个变量的变化,对结果的影响,或者为了达到预期,应该满足何种条件。所以需要有一个工具,能够 把excel中的静态表格形成的静态图表,输出成swf(或者其他文件格式)的文件,在汇报的时候,某个领导问,如果楼面价提高到xxxx的话,收益能到 多少,我们能立即在flash上拖动滑动条,显示出最终受益的变化。请问对于这种功能需求,是否SAP Crystal Dashboard Design已经足够满足? 而且是很好的满足。

 

另外还想多问一句,对于SAP Crystal Reports  来说,我们是完全不需要的吧。只有那种员工成千上万,关联公司成千上万,分布在世界各地,才会需要用到这个软件,连接各种来源的数据库,来做决策分析是不是?

 

最后还有个问题,对于SAP Lumira这个软件,在SAP的网站上的介绍是“”不仅仅是收集数据,还可实现数据可视化。借助 SAP Lumira 标准版,您可以整合和准备来自即席与企业数据源的数据,而不必向 IT 部门寻求帮助,从而重新诠释自助服务信息理念。 “而且这个软件的个人版是免费的。标准版卖一万七千多。看了SAP网站上的视频演示,没感觉这种数据可视化比excel强在哪啊。是不是我理解的不够?

 

其实之所以会注意到reports和lumira这两个软件,主要是它们的功能介绍上提到了:实现数据可视化(SAP Lumira),呈现数据的实际意义,当文字和数字不足以呈现信息时,可用地理地图和图表形象地交流信息(SAP Crystal Reports),因为我们部门提供的分析结果中,也有可能包含一定的地理数据(比如分区人口、面积、拆迁回迁、可出让等等,以前在CAD里面做精确地工 作,然后EXCEL里面统计分析,最后到PHOTOSHOP里面手工制图)

 

我还想问SAP Lumira和SAP Crystal Reports这两个软件,我们部门是否有必要试用一下?其实我们想要的,就是数据的格式化,动态的可视化,能够结合地理数据的数据可视化,最终实现令人难忘却又易于理解的表达。
