The VBA code snippet will only run in Excel. However, it is possible to create a program that does the same thing in Visual Studio. You would have to reference the "Designer" COM object in the program, which could then be written in either VB or C#.

Mariano I didn't find RM60ROLL job in SM37. I did automated split configuration and assign to MRP Group and the items which are assigned to that MRP group has weekly requirement now.

Our regular MRP jobs runs following 2 jobs.

RMMDVM20

RMMRP000

I started to think if you do the config and assign to MRP group you don;t need to run MD67 and other way is if you change martial master to WB and run MD67 it will do split.

Hello,

I am creating the native Android app that is using oData and connects to NW Gateway or SMP 3.0 for data provisioning. Following how-to guides for android from Claudia Pacheco I managed well along the way to connect to SMP, get some entities back and parse data.

However one of my requirements is to download the binary attachment that are modeled as mediaLink in NW gateway and are accessible over urls like Document('ID00001')/$value

When I try to put a code like one below system fails with message that I have wrong conversation

OnlineODataStore store = openListener.getStore();
ODataResponseSingle resp = store.executeReadEntity("Document('ID00001')/$value", null);

When I look at logs in SMP server or testing the URL in Gateway I see that file content is sent to mobile device and apparently it fails at parsing it inside ODataResponseSingle handler also, when I test the same URL from browser pointing directly to NW Gateway I can get the file downloaded without any problems.

Can someone point me in right direction on how to download media content properly to mobile devices as I am a bit stuck there at the moment?

Hi all

My requirement is 'to add a new custom tab in EC which displays the details from on-premise system through web service' call. I have my External web service integration and its working fine.

I need a button / action to call the web service from my custom tab. For that I tried with 2 ways of adding.

1. In this case, I have created xbo and added it to EC and the necessary bindings are done. Here, I am unable to create a button in Toolbar and also can't trigger an action. I thought of calling web service in Afterloading event but this event is not available for xbo. Here I got struck to call my web service to display details.

2. In this method, I have create bo and added it to EC and the necessary bindings are done. Here, I have set the Button in Toolbar and set event handler on click. I have tried with 'BOAction' which calls my action of bo(Custom action and also Afterloading event is available here, in code the library is displaying my service name).

Whats happening is when I see on the UI the button has been disabled.

Since both the options are not in a correct path. I started trying on creating a button in Standard TI screen through extensibility explorer. When I add the button it asks for OBN configuration which is to be done through the OBN/INPORT/OUTPORT configurations of bo. Here I cant find my Porttypes and namespace.

To configure OBN in BO, I guess it can be done only for OWL screens.

I am exploring on different possibilities to add button and calling my web service, Kindly give your inputs.

One of our client requires the Activate Asset Accounting (New),we maintained around 10 countries chart of depreciation like country specific and following multiple countries more depreciation areas , but while activating Asset Accounting (New) we are getting the error,please find attached the error screen shot and kindly do the needful.

Hi Obed,

In SAP, if you want to create a ABAP program/objecct of your own you need to name the program starting with "Z" or "Y".

Basically All characters except ‘Y’ and ‘Z’ are reserved for SAP.

All customized programs/objects should start with letter 'Z' or 'Y'.

Hello,

I'm running into a strange situation upon purchase order creation. I haven't been able to find any SNOTEs or thread entries after some digging.

First, we recently upgraded and are on EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0.

When creating a purchase order referencing a requisition with no source of supply assignment in the requisition (no vendor, or purchasing org. data assigned on the req.), I'm not able to adopt the requisition without first entering all mandatory PO header information. This behavior is different from similar systems in which you can adopt the line item information first, then complete the header information on the PO.
When manually creating a purchase order in ME21N, we have a 'Consumable' PO template saved for specific buyers. This template only holds the line item information so the user can quickly and easily enter the PO. The process is as follows:
1. Transaction ME21N
2. Load from template
3. Adjust PO where needed and press enter to register against the database.
4. Check the PO.
5. Save
When the user presses enter to register against the database and there is a header error (missing/incorrect vendor, missing purchase org. information, etc) all of the line item information is removed.

Has anyone experienced this issue and do you have any advise? <removed by moderator>

I have an Access 2000 mdb that has several large fields defined as memo. I need to convert these to string[65534] since as memo fields they show up as blanks on my report. Can you please tell me if, within CR, this can be done and how to do it?

Hi,

You should use the special procurement key. This SPK is configured with transaction OMD9.

You need to create a key in plant XXXX to transfer the requirement to plant YYYY. (Special Procurement U for Stock Transfer).

Then the new SPK can be assigned in the materials master of your component C1 or direclty in the BOM at component level.

Hi ROb,

Parallel cursor would not be helpful as this both tables are not having the same key.

reads without binary search is having some reason but I can work on that.

But the question is still unanswered.. can I avoid the outer loop for creating the internal table then two select queries and write select single inside the loop.????
