Is it possible to use the Fiori PO and PR approval apps with out workflows as our PR and PO approval processes does n't depend on workflows currently.

I understand that. Perhaps I was not clear. We have parts that fail and when they fail, we need to supply the customer with a replacement or repaired part. We do not keep these in stock. What we'd like to do is avoid a stock-out situation. When a customer needs a replacement part, we should have one to give them, but the problem is how to forecast the demand? These parts currently are notsubject to MRP or forecast.
If we start now with a manual forecast such as 1 per month, we may end up with too many parts. What we're looking for is a way to input all the dates or time periods that a part was needed to get some sort of model that will allow us to more accurately determine how many parts to forecast in the future. Some of these are long lead time items as well.
I hope this makes things more clear.

Error Saving custom Theme - Theme Designer - Fiori
Hello Guys, I´m trying to replace the SAP company logo with customer´s one using a copy of the blue Crystal theme, but when I press the Save and build option Ipm getting an error.
I´ve read another post with the same error.
We´ve upgraded our UI5 version (1.28.14) because it was too old and we've implemented all related notes. described in the note 2207373 - SAPUI5 upgrade to version 1.28.14
UI5 version.
Here are all the components installed in the Front-end Server.
Am I forgetting Something? because the error is still there.

KSRCM - Please reverse the logic in FM /MRSS/GET_MONTH_NAME and create your own FM with 12 cases.
Just change the 'CASE' parameters. We did it in one requirement.

Re: Slowness with setTableLocation when using Java 8 (1.8)
For anyone interested, I have finally found a solution to this nagging problem!
In other forums, recently there have been reports of poor performance with Java 8 when it is necessary to access JAR files that are contained in a master JAR file. In taking a look at the CR jar files, I found one such JAR file: XMLConnector.jar, which is a collection of JAR and MAR files for CR classes and various third party stuff.
After unzipping XLConnector.jar into a folder, and adding that folder to the classpath, the slowness is gone, and performance is on par with Java 7, and everything else seems to be working fine with Java 8. So, the key seems to be to not use JAR files that are a collection of other JAR files when using Java 8.
If you happen to be using CR in a NetBeans 8.x platform application with Java 8, I have made a post in the NetBeans forums explaining how to implement the above solution.

Again , I appreciate the suggestions, I think we can rule out the processor and the video card since this is a new problem that just started happening. The MS update on the printer drivers is definitely worth pursuing. I may let the Citrix engineers deal with this because on our Citrix servers (virtual W2008) the app works fine when run via Remote Desktop but behaves badly when run on the same computer when run via Citrix. Hopefully this will bruise their ego's enough that they will dig in!

Hello All,
Compression reduces number of input output operations to main memory however extra CPU resources are utilized for compression. Further compression in HANA reduces memory storage in main memory. In order to determine this compression rate/factor, we analyze below two values:
1. Cardinality(Table + Column),
2. Entropy (Information Density).
In above context can you explain me how cardinality and entropy are measured using a real time scenario?

Hi, Diego and Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. The Add-In was not disabled. It was inactive no matter what. I had to check it to load every session. I actually went into the registry settings to check if indeed the Load behavior was set to 3 and it wasn't. It was 0. Changed it to 3. Now it loads fine at the Excel startup. But it comes as Read-only which is again not good. Users won't be able to perform analytical functions using Display. Clicking on Display brings nothing.

When I hide the event start date then the sum will show correctly so that does work.
Perhaps an overlap of dates is causing the issue?
I have another dimension for the start date which includes the time after it.
As a test I will try using that but can you please advise how I will be able to trim it so the time is removed?

I have Extending SRM PO Approval Odata Service SRM_PURCHASEORDER to add custom Entity gives the following error message when calling from FIORI app:

to make matters worse Test transaction /IWFND/GW_CLIENT cannot be used to call WorkflowTasks using custom Odata service as GET_ENTITY purposely throws out exception message.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The fields get their value from the calculation carried out based on the routing (transportation time) and shipping point setup (working hours, loading time, pick/pack time,assigned calendars)

Thank you so much for your response. I followed all the steps exactly as explained in Part 2. I do receive an alert both in "Watchlist" and in "BI Launchpad". However, I am not receiving any email updates on the alert.
Here's the workflow I followed to enable email notification.
Under "watchlist" tab, I clicked on "Throttle and Notification"
Then I clicked on "Directory" under "Notification Settings"
Then I selected my name from "User/Group Name"
Then from "Alert Settings" drop down, I selected "Get email alert(Danger)" and clicked ok
Then "Save"
Could you please tell me if I missed any step?
